Participation involves pre-treatment testing including a gynaecological examination, an interview and completion of questionnaires, as well as a genital testing and pelvic floor muscle assessment. Eligible women will be randomly selected to complete eight sessions of either cognitive-behavioural therapy or pelvic floor physiotherapy over a twelve week period. One month and six months following treatment completion, women will complete the same testing that was completed pre-treatment.

All treatment is provided free of charge and compensation is provided.

For more information on this study, please email shrl@queensu.ca or phone 613.533.3276
